Jarrow Formulas N-A-C Sustain provides 600mg N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine in a special two part release tablet.
- SUSTAIN bilayer release technology means 1/3 release quickly and 2/3 sustained release.
N-Acetyl L-Cysteine is an amino acid precursor to the important antioxidant glutathione which is found in all our cells.
NAC has a normal half life of 1 1/2 hours in the bloodstream, but Jarrow Formulas N-A-C Sustain has been designed to give a sustained release in the intestines over an 8 hour period. The two phase release technology used in the tablets means that 1/3 of the NAC is released quickly to immediately raise levels in the blood, while the other 2/3 have a sustained release to help maintain blood levels over an extended period.

Other Ingredients: Carbomer, cellulose, calcium phosphate, beet root powder (for colour), stearic acid (vegetable source), magnesium stearate (vegetable source), silicon dioxide and a food-grade coating.
Contains No: Wheat, gluten, soybeans, dairy, egg, fish/shellfish, peanuts/tree nuts.

Prolonged or elevated intake may alter liver function tests without affecting actual liver function. Inform your physician that you are ingesting NAC if you undergo liver function tests.
