Description

Cholic acid is one of the main acids that make up our bile acids and they are important for fat digestion in the small intestines.

The liver is continually producing bile salts which are made by conjugating bile acids including chenodeoxycholic acid and cholic acid with taurine or glycine. These salts then get moved to the gallbladder for storage, where they can be delivered to the intestines after eating.

Once in the small intestines, the bile acids create micelles around tiny fat drops which then allows lipase to digest the fats. A healthy production of bile is essential for healthy digestion of fats in the diet and for normal absorption of the fat soluble vitamins (A, D, E, K).

Ox Bile (40% cholic acid)(from bovine)(Germany) 125 mg
Other Ingredients: Vegetarian Capsule (hypromellose and water), microcrystalline cellulose, ascorbyl palmitate, and silica.
Contains bovine.

Contains No: Milk, Egg, Fish, Shellfish, Tree Nuts, Peanuts, Wheat, Soy, Gluten, Artificial Flavours, Colours or Preservatives.

Note: Ox Bile is from bovine source, grass fed oxen with no usage of synthetic hormones, or antibiotics.
Directions
Take 1 capsule daily with a meal or as directed by your healthcare practitioner.

Helped when nothing else has
I have tried copius amounts of digestive enzymes and supplements to help manage my SIBO then I somehow stumbled across Ox Bile so thought what have I got to lose!
It is the only thing that has help me digest fats properly, I have noticeably less bloating when I take it and I am more 'regular' too. Hands down an EXCELLENT product, thank you Seeking Health!!!

Great product
I have no gall bladder so find these tablets help me with digestion. I usually take them with evening and heavy meals, they work well and have noticed a difference since taking them.

Brilliant
So glad I bought these! I have been looking for something to improve my digestion since I had my Gallbladder surgery a few months ago.
Definitely a great improvement. I would suggest to people that have a similar problem to take a good probiotic as well!

FANTASTIC PRODUCT
I started on Ox Bile about a month ago. I had my gall bladder removed 10 years ago and have had a hard time with digesting fats. On top of that, I have Spincher of Oddi dysfunction. The pain is awful.... So far, I have not had an episode, which is great news for me. I wish I knew about this sooner!

Great Product
I started on Ox Bile a few years ago, after suffering excruciating pain with no warning once or twice a year after having my Gall Bladder removed 9yrs ago.... nobody told me about Spincher of Oddi dysfunction that can happen to 1 in 5 people with a narrow artery where the Gall Bladder was connected which can cause stones to back up into the liver....it is worse than any pain I had before it was removed. I read about this dysfunction and people found Ox Bile helped to prevent this so tried & it is a life saver.

Can't survive without it.
I have a dodgy gallbladder courtesy of very heavy intravenous medication. As it is too dangerous for me to have surgery due to having practically no white cell count, I was highly restricted on what I could eat without ending up with a major gallbladder attack. The other brands were too strong for my body but Seeking Health was just right. I am able to eat more than before but it will take quite a while to return to normal. Without this ox bile I wouldn't be able to absorb the nutrients my body desperately needs.

I have no gallbladder and have been taking this for a month. Feel a little more energised, bowel habits have improved and my dreams have been full on.
