Jarrow Formulas Methyl B12 + Methyl Folate combines the active forms of vitamin B12, folate and vitamin B6.

Many supplements on the market are made with the cheaper forms of these B vitamins which means that the body must first convert them into their active forms. However certain people have a reduced ability to convert folic acid into methyl folate due to genetic abberations.
Jarrow Formulas Methyl B12 + Methyl Folate provides vitamins B6, B9 (folate), B12 in their active forms which the body can use without prior conversion.
These vitamins are required for amino acid metabolism, production of neurotransmitters and for healthy DNA synthesis.
Methyl folate and vitamin B12 aid in the conversion of homocysteine to the amino acid methionine, which is then converted to the amino acid cysteine with the help of P-5-P (active form of B6).
