Baked Potatoes with a Twist

Ingredients:


  • Large Potatoes (1 for each person)
  • Crushed garlic
  • Butter
  • Cheddar cheese
  • Chopped bacon
  • Grated Cheese
  • Sour Cream
  • Guacamole (home-made of course)
  • Jalapenosbaked-potato-loaded-100
  • Spring Onions
  • Chilli sauce


Method:


  1. Slice the potatoes several times length ways but NOT all the way through.
  2. Smear the crushed garlic over each potato.
  3. Put knobs of butter between some slices of the potatoes.
  4. Bake for 1 hour at 180ºC.
  5. Remove potatoes and put slices of cheese between the potato slices.
  6. Sprinkle chopped bacon over each potato and a little grated cheese.
  7. Bake until the cheese is melted.
  8. Serve each potato with dollops of the following toppings: Guacamole, sour cream or salsa
  9. Add chopped jalopenos and chopped spring onion.
  10. Drizzle chilli sauce or hot sauce on top if desired.
