Cheese Puffs

Enjoy with soup or in your lunchbox.

Ingredients:


  • ½ cup milk (dairy-free alternative can be used if preferred)
  • 1-2 eggs lightly beaten (depending on consistency of mixture)
  • 2 cups of grated cheese
  • 1 cup self-raising flour (gluten free flour can be used if preferred)
  • 3 bacon rashers diced OR finely chopped large handful of spinach as a vegetarian alternativevegetable-and-cheese-patties
  • 1 onion finely diced


Method:


  1. Preheat oven to 200°C.
  2. Combine egg and milk in a large bowl.
  3. Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
  4. Line a baking tray with baking paper and drop large teaspoons of the mixture onto the tray.
  5. Place into oven and bake for about 20 minutes or until slightly golden on top.

These are super easy and fast to make, a great after-school snack or lunch box addition. Or would be lovely alongside a hot home-made soup!
