Muscle French Toast

A great recipe to start the day!

Ingredients:


  • 2 scoops vanilla or plain protein powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 3-4 eggs
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 4 slices of whole wheat or gluten free bread


Toppings of your choices:


  • Lemon juice and honey
  • Fresh berries
  • 100% fruit jam with no added sugar
  • Mashed bananas and dark chocolate
  • 100% Maple syrup


Method:


  1. Mix eggs, protein powder, cinnamon and milk in a large bowl and whisk until blended
  2. Soak each piece of bread in the mixture for around 30 seconds
  3. Add a nob of butter to a frying pan on a medium heat. Cook each side of the bread until its slightly firm
  4. Add your topping of choice and serve.
